How to make: Halloween no bake mini cheesecake potions!

These super cute cheesecakes are so easy to make and quick, you can easily make them on Halloween day ready for the party! Get the kids involved too! Make it a fun Halloween night in!

So, here's what you'll need;

- your favourite biscuits (I choose shortbread, these work really well!)
- a little bit of butter
- extra thick cream
- a flavouring of your choice (I chose Vanilla)
- gel food colouring of your choice (I choose red and green)
- sprinkles/any Halloween toppings you like
- and little jars to put them in!

Everything I bought was enough to make two jars. I found these cute little jars in Wilko for £1 each! Make sure you give them a wash before putting food in them though!

Place the biscuits of your choice in a big bowl. I used 6 for two people. Now looking back on it I wish I used a little more! Hopefully you'll have better judgement! You then want to smash them up into crumbs with an end of a rolling pin. This can get super messy! Really fun for the kids to do!

So next you want to add a little bit of butter, it's just to make it abit wet so you're able to mush it down in the jar. Your judgement will come in handy here too! I found it easier using my hands as the heat melted the butter faster and you can judge the texture easier.

Once you have a damp texture, evenly put the mixture into the jars like this.

You then want to get a small spoon and press down on the mixture to form a cheesecake like base. You'll end up with something like this. If you don't feel like it's enough feel free to repeat the previous stage to add more! I wish I did this!

In a bowl, empty out all of the cream and add your chosen flavouring. Remember to keep tasting as you go, I had to add a lot of flavouring to get my desired taste!

Separate the cream into two bowls or into how many different gel colours you are using.

Now for the magic! Add the whole tube of the gel colour to each bowl. If you use a tiny bit it will come out pastel colours. I wanted the colour darker than this but it was my first time working with colour gel! Keep mixing until the colour and the cream are all mixed together evenly.

Pour the coloured cream on top of the biscuit base in the jar so you end up with something like this...

And finally, add your sprinkles or any toppings that you like!

You can paint the jars all Halloween-y (with acrylic paint) and add cute little characters on cocktail sticks! Get your kids to draw little characters, cut them out and stick them on with blue tac, easy peasy!

Let them chill in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes then they're ready to eat! They last in the fridge for about three days! Like I said, these are so quick and easy to make you can make them on the day for a Halloween party or even make it a little fun activity for you and your kids to do this Halloween!

Any questions or comments, don't hesitate to contact me down below and good luck!

Cruise to France

At the end of August I went on a 2 day luxury cruise to France. Me and a small portion of my family went with The Royal Carribean cruises. The little holiday was just absolutely perfect.
If you're ever thinking about going on a cruise but not too sure, I would definitely recommend a small trip like this one!
We set off from Southampton and sailed through out the night to France. The ship was just unreal, it has everything you could ever imagine. Here's just a few of it's little luxuries, a spa, dinning rooms fit for a king, casino, arcade, 3 swimming pools, all day buffet, shops, cafe, fast food, pubs.
Just everything! Even a chapple to get married in at the top deck!
Again for most of this trip I used my Diana Mini camera and promise to get all of the films developed soon! I will write out a huge photo dump and also a little review!

I did however get a few photos (:

(The food was so insane! Best food I've ever had!)
I had my first macaroon in France! was SO good!)

In France I found a Sephora! I was so excited and ended up buying my first Nars product! Which I shall definitely be writing about!
The whole trip was just mind blowing and I would LOVE to do it again but for longer! Honestly, two days on a ship this massive is not long enough. If you ever are lucky enough to get the opportunity to do a trip like this, take it!

In other news! Last night me and Craig went and watched Box of Light in our hometown. The show was amazing, they performed so well and I was lucky enough to meet Helen after the show! I was so incredibly happy and she was everything I expected and more! What you see her like on her channel is exactly what you get in real life.

Also, I finally have a Pusheen plush! Craig surprised me with her a few days ago! She's so cute hehe!
More travel blogs soon! xo

Paratour/roadtrip

Day 1: Everything packed and shoved in the car I could not contain my excitement. Finally after 9 years of being a huge fan of Paramore, today was the day I was able to see them, live! The road trip was filled with laughter and lots of singing to our favourite songs, which is how it should be with your best buddy! We arrived into Cardiff and stopped at Wagamama for some food. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend it! Some of the best food I have ever tasted. Looking for our hotel was the hardest mission ever! We went past the arena and saw all of the Paramore fans queuing for forever! It just became funny that we couldn’t find it but we finally did, with 1 hour and half to go until the doors opened! Getting ready, my tummy was starting to flip and excitement had overtaken me, we were skipping around the room (it was very large) I hardly wore any make-up because I knew I’d just sweat it off anyway! I wore a crop top and a skirt, perfection for dancing and jumping!

The show, wow, wow, wow THE SHOW! It was the most incredible thing I’ve been too, seen and danced around too, and I danced my butt off! Some of the people around us were not even singing or dancing, what is the point in going to a show? Really do not get some people! I sang every word and danced to every melody, it was everything I imagined and more. The show was totally worth waiting 9 years for! Jeremy is my favourite member, he is one talented guy! Hayley running up and down the stage was ace, despite hardly seeing her tiny self! I loved her playing at the piano and messing up on ‘When it Rains’ but still my favourite song! I could hardly see Taylor but sure he rocked it! The fan that got to go up on stage was so lucky! And owned the stage during 'Misery Business'! Well done buddy! The final was amazing, confetti falling everywhere while the whole arena was belting out ‘Still into You’

Still so adrenaline pumped from the gig we decided to get maccy d’s and head back, watched some Interbetweeners and slept. Hardly slept that night and think I managed to drop off at 5:30am

Day 2: We woke up around 9ish, we had a full day planned ahead! Showered and dressed we headed out around 11. We grabbed a Subway and headed over to the mall, we shopped around for abit, but wasn’t all that interested as we have similar shops, loved Hamley’s and Disney though, as we do not have them! (sad face) I bought myself a Zero teddy from Disney, my favourite character in Nightmare Before Christmas (: We tried to find a store that would stock film for my polaroid but it was closed, but we ended up in a nice little street, so I took a photo. It hit half 2 and we decided to head over to the Doctor Who Experience! I was very excited for this as the last time I came to Cardiff I couldn’t find it! The adventure part at the beginning of the tour was so scary! I think I was more scared than the kids! The worst was the Weeping Angels, I think they’re the most terrifying villain in Doctor Who! You had to walk through the forest and they were all there! I was going crazy and closing my eyes (I didn’t blink)! The actual exhibition bit was very impressive! They had loads of original props, including Ten’s coat and the heart of the T.A.R.D.I.S  (which you could actually stand on)! It was just all so, so impressive and a real must for any Doctor Who fan! After that it was pretty much dinner time so we stopped off at T.G.I Friday’s, which we’ve both never been too and only thought existed in America. I must say it was the best meal I’ve ever had! I had the Kickin’ Veggie Burger and Apple Waffle Crunch which were both such a delight! We left a pretty big tip for the wonderful lady who served us, she was so, so lovely! With our bellies full and satisfied we left for the journey home! Which was a lot of fun, the singing and conversations never stopped all the way home, such a perfect trip.

Can't wait for more traveling adventures in the very near future!

I just enjoy the whole process of cooking and baking, it's great! This is such a great recipie if you don't know what to do with the remains from your pumpkin carving (:

Goulden Cardiff

My weekend was so perfect (:
I went to Cardiff with my good friend Christina. The reason to visit this pretty city? The one and only Ellie Goulding
of course! I also highly recommend seeing this artist too! Perfection comes to mind when I was watching her perform. Every note hit perfectly, interaction with the audience was amazing and on the slow songs, intense and soulful. She covered Temper Trap, Sweet Disposition which I shed a little tear at, seriously beautiful (:

I'll stop being soppy and post photos!
(again, please credit if taking and please do not remove the tag, thank you!)

I also recorded a video of her and her band mate drumming, my camera is usually really bad and I didn't think the video was going to come out great, it came out better than what I expected and wish I recorded more!

OH! How amazing is the Cardiff mall?! WOW! It's huge, I love it! I bought a cupcake travel bag!
Anyone ever been? xo

a slice of Paloma!

(my own photo, please credit if taking! and please do not remove tag! Just makes everyones life easier and happier (: I was second row, yay!)

Paloma Faith was absolutly magical last night. I knew she was good, I have her album on constant and I've seen a few of her performances on tv, but I didn't relise how inspiring she was just by her voice. I cried a little, but a good cry, I was really touched and moved by her music. She's so theatrical and funny, God! What a funny woman. She's so breezy and connects with the audience so well. She really involves you with the whole show. She's just fantastic and I highly recomend to see her if you can! I went with my best friend, Sam and her little sister, Lauren (it was her first gig! cute!) Lauren loves Eliza Doolittle who was the supporting act, who was amazing also. Next Friday I'm traveling up to Cardiff with my other best friend, Christina to see the almighty Ellie Goulding! I shall keep you posted on that!

Today I went to lunch with Sam and had a pizza, oh yeah!

It was so good! What's your favourite?

Hope you all have a great fireworks night! Be safe! xo
